This guide is for anyone choosing a 3D printed bunny: rabbit owners, parents filling a basket, and collectors who want a matching set. We print five bunny designs, and each one has its own pose. The Jumping Bunny is caught mid-hop, the Fluffy Bunny sits round and calm, the Tall Bunny stands up, the Bow Bunny wears a bow, and the Grey Bunny sits quietly in one size.
Four of the five use our classic size menu, from a 1 inch Micro at $1.00 to a 6 inch X-Large at $15.00. The Grey Bunny comes in one size at $7.00, or $8.00 with a keychain ring. All five are printed in one piece with the joints already in place, and all five take any color you type in the Custom color box.
Pick a 3D printed bunny by pose first, because the pose decides how it moves in the hand, then pick the size for where it will live.
Five 3D Printed Bunny Designs, Side by Side
Here is the whole lineup before we go through each one.
Jumping Bunny. Ears back, legs stretched, mid-jump. Six sizes plus a Keychain, from $1.00.
Fluffy Bunny. Plump and rounded, like a real rabbit at rest. Six sizes plus a Keychain, from $1.75.
Tall Bunny. Long and upright, made to stand on a shelf. Six sizes plus a Keychain, from $1.00.
Bow Bunny. A rabbit wearing a little bow. Five sizes with no Keychain, from $1.00.
Grey Bunny. A gentle seated rabbit with a soft texture worked into the print. One size, $7.00, or $8.00 with a ring.
The Jumping and Fluffy bunnies live in our furry pets collection. The Tall, Bow and Grey bunnies sit with the foxes and hedgehogs in the woodland critters collection, along with the Jackalope, a jackrabbit with antlers at $7.00.
The Jumping Bunny Is the 3D Printed Bunny That Hops
The Jumping Bunny is printed stretched out in a leap. Because the body starts long, the joints have room to travel. You can fold it into a crouch, straighten it into a full jump, or curl it up to rest, and it holds each pose.
That range makes it the best fidget of the five. Bending it from crouch to leap and back is the kind of small, repeated motion that keeps busy hands occupied without making noise.
Its size menu has two prices that differ from the other bunnies. The Large (3 in) is $7.00 instead of $6.00, and the Keychain is $8.00 instead of $7.00. The rest match: Micro (1 in) $1.00, Mini (1.5 in) $1.75, Regular (2 in) $2.75 and X-Large (6 in) $15.00.
Best for: a child who wants a toy to play with rather than look at, and anyone who wants a pocket fidget.
The Fluffy Bunny Sits Round and Calm
The Fluffy Bunny has the plump shape of a rabbit settled in for a nap. It bends, curls and sits up, but its round body means it moves in shorter arcs than the Jumping Bunny. It feels softer to hold, even though it is the same rigid PLA.
This is the bunny people pick when they want something that looks like their own rabbit. A rounded body reads as a real pet more than a cartoon, especially in a solid coat color.
Its Micro is $1.75, not $1.00, and its Mini is $2.00. From Regular up it matches the others: Regular (2 in) $2.75, Large (3 in) $6.00, X-Large (6 in) $15.00 and Keychain $7.00.
Best for: rabbit owners, younger children who like a toy to cuddle in the palm, and a calm desk companion.
The Tall Bunny and the Bow Bunny Stand Up for a Shelf
The Tall Bunny
The Tall Bunny is the most elegant of the group: long ears, a long body, an upright stance. It stands on a shelf without help, then folds up small enough for a pocket. At X-Large (6 in) it is tall enough to be the centerpiece of a spring display.
Prices follow the classic menu exactly: Micro $1.00, Mini $1.75, Regular $2.75, Large $6.00, X-Large $15.00 and Keychain $7.00.
The Bow Bunny
The Bow Bunny wears a small bow and bends into a crouch like the others. It comes in five sizes, Micro through X-Large, at the same prices as the Tall Bunny. There is no Keychain size for this design.
Its size menu is labelled White, and the shade of white varies a little from print to print. If you want a different color, type it in the Custom color box. A pink or pale blue Bow Bunny suits a nursery shelf.
Best for: shelves, gifts for a child who loves bows, and anyone building a display rather than a pocket collection.
The Grey Bunny Comes in One Size, With or Without a Ring
The Grey Bunny is a separate one-size design. It sits in a gentle seated pose, with soft curves and texture printed into the body. There is no size to choose. The only menu is Keychain: No for the standalone bunny at $7.00, or Yes for $8.00 with a ring for keys or a backpack zip.
Grey is its usual color, but the Custom color box works here too. The product page does not list an inch measurement, so if size matters for a particular spot, send us a message through the contact page before you order.
Best for: someone who wants one bunny, ready to carry, without working through a size menu.
What a 3D Printed Bunny Costs, Size by Size
Price follows size, because a bigger print uses more filament and more hours on the printer. Here is what common bunny orders add up to, using the live prices above.
One of each in Micro (Jumping, Fluffy, Tall and Bow) is $4.75. That is four 1 inch bunnies for a party bag or a tiny shelf.
One of each in Regular is $11.00 for four 2 inch bunnies. Regular is the size most people mean when they picture a desk flexi.
One of each in Large is $25.00, because the Jumping Bunny's Large is $7.00. Large (3 in) is the size we suggest for fidgeting.
One of each in X-Large is $60.00 for four 6 inch bunnies, and it ships free.
A bunny keychain is $7.00 for the Fluffy or Tall Bunny, or $8.00 for the Jumping Bunny or the Grey Bunny with a ring.
Economy shipping is free on orders of $35 or more, and $3.99 below that. If you can visit us at Canton Trade Days, you can choose local pickup at the booth and skip shipping altogether.
Colors for a 3D Printed Bunny: Real Coats or Pastels
None of the bunnies has a color menu with a price attached. You type the color in the Custom color box on the product page, and the price stays the same whatever you choose. If that filament is out when your order comes up, we message you with the closest match before we print.
To match a real rabbit, use one solid color: white, grey, brown, black or a sandy tan. Solid colors show the shape of the body best, and the Fluffy Bunny and Grey Bunny suit them most.
For a spring or nursery look, pastels such as pink, light blue, mint or lavender work well. A set of Micros in four pastels makes a small rainbow on a windowsill.
For a child who chooses their own, let them name the color. A purple Jumping Bunny is not realistic, and that is fine.
Keep bright colors and white away from a sunny window if you want them to stay the same shade for years, and keep any bunny out of a hot car, since PLA softens above about 140°F.
Common Questions About a 3D Printed Bunny
Is a 3D printed bunny safe around a pet rabbit?
Keep it out of the hutch. Rabbits chew, and a flexi bunny is not a chew toy for any pet, including the animal it looks like. On a shelf above the enclosure it is fine.
Which bunny suits a young child?
For a child old enough not to put toys in their mouth, the Regular (2 in) or Large (3 in) Jumping or Fluffy Bunny is a good start. For a child who still mouths things, skip the Micro and Mini, which are small enough to swallow, and choose Large or X-Large.
When should I order bunnies for an Easter basket?
Each piece is printed after you order and ships in 1 to 3 business days, plus transit time. For a basket order of several bunnies, order a couple of weeks before the date so there is room for a color match message.
Can I order a matching set in different colors?
Yes. Add each bunny to the cart separately and type a different color in each Custom color box. Four Regular bunnies in four colors come to $11.00.
Pick a 3D Printed Bunny by Pose, Then Size
The five bunnies are less alike than their names suggest. Choose the Jumping Bunny if it will be handled, the Fluffy Bunny if it should look like a real pet, the Tall or Bow Bunny if it will stand on a shelf, and the Grey Bunny if you want one size and a ring without any choosing.
Then choose the size by where it will live: Micro for a party bag, Regular for a desk, Large for a fidget, X-Large for display. To see the rest of the small animals, browse furry pets or the woodland critters.
At Cosmic 3D Creations, every bunny is printed to order in premium PLA in Como, Texas, in the color you type in the Custom color box, and checked joint by joint before it ships. If you would rather see them in person, the next Canton Trade Days run is October 29 to November 1 at booth 4268/4269, and you can order online and pick up at the booth.
