The Color Choice Is What Makes the Gift Theirs
Color is where a printed-to-order gift stops being a product and starts being for one person. It also costs nothing extra.
Every product page has a Custom color box. Type what you want there and we print it that way, at the same price as the default. School colors, team colors, a wedding palette, the exact green of somebody's first car.
The color menus differ by design. Some pieces offer Single, Dual and Rainbow options. Others, like the Chubby Cat and the Highland Cow, have a short fixed list because the design was built around those colors. Read the menu on the page before you assume a color is available.
Rainbow prints vary from piece to piece. The filament changes color along its length, so where the bands fall depends on the size and the path of the print. Two rainbow dragons from the same spool will not match, which is a feature for a collector and a problem if you need a matched pair.
Give us a description, not a color code. "Dark forest green body with a pale cream belly" gets a better result than a hex value, because we are matching to filament we actually have on the shelf.

How far ahead should I order a gift?
Two weeks is comfortable. Printing and inspection take one to three business days, and shipping usually takes another two to five. Ordering two weeks out absorbs a slow post day without any anxiety. For a bulk order of party favors, give us longer.
Can I pick it up instead of paying shipping?
Yes. Local pickup in Como is free, and you can also collect an online order at our Canton Trade Days booth, Pavilion 4200, Booth 4268 and 4269. The dates left in 2026 are October 1 to 4, October 29 to November 1, and December 3 to 6. Order ahead and say which show you are coming to.
What if I have no idea which animal they would pick?
Buy two small ones instead of one large one. Two Regular pieces at $2.75 each give the person a choice and tell you what they actually like, which makes the next gift easy. A keychain is the other safe answer, because it gets used whether or not the creature was a perfect match.
Is a flexi toy a good gift for an adult?
It is the larger half of our business. Adults buy dragons for desks, axolotls for shelves and sharks for anyone who will look at them. If you are buying for an adult, spend the money on size rather than on quantity. One 6 inch piece reads as a gift in a way that six 1 inch pieces do not.
Pick the Creature That Fits the Person
Good 3D printed gift ideas are not really about 3D printing. They are about paying attention to what somebody already likes, then choosing a size that suits the place it will live and a color that could only have been chosen for them.
