This guide is for pet owners, and for anyone buying for one, who want to choose between our 3D printed pets. We print two dogs, a Chihuahua, two ferrets and a guinea pig that comes with its own house. Each one is printed in one piece with the joints already in place, so it bends, curls and holds a pose straight off the printer.
Prices run from a 1 inch Micro Dog at $1.00 to $40.00 for both Guinea Pig sets. Some designs use our six-size menu, some come in two lengths, and some come in one size with an optional keychain ring. Every one takes any color you type in the Custom color box, which is how most people match their own animal.
Choose a 3D printed pet by the animal first, then by the color of the real one at home, then by where the flexi will live.

Here is the whole group from our furry pets collection before we go through each one.

Ferret. A long ferret in 10 Inch at $12.00 or 14 inch at $18.00, with five color choices on the menu.
Mini Ferret. About 4 inches long. $7.00, or $8.00 with a ring.
Guinea Pig with House. A guinea pig and a printed house, sold as a Small Set, a Large Set, both sets, or the guinea pig alone for $7.00.

Two 3D Printed Dogs, and How They Differ
The six-size Dog
This is the pocket-sized dog, built on our classic size menu. Its joints run from the neck through the tail, so it sits up, stretches out, rolls onto its back and stays there.
Prices are Micro (1 in) $1.00, Mini (1.5 in) $1.75, Regular (2 in) $2.75, Large (3 in) $6.00, X-Large (6 in) $15.00 and Keychain $7.00. Regular sits well on a desk. Large is the size we suggest for fidgeting, because there is enough body to bend without the joints feeling fiddly.
The one-size Dog
The second Dog is a different sculpt with smoother contours and a more expressive face, printed in a sit-and-wag pose. Its joints run from the collar to the tip of the tail.
There is no size menu. Keychain: No gives you the dog by itself for $7.00, and Keychain: Yes adds a ring for $8.00. The product page does not list an inch measurement, so if size matters, message us before you order.
Best for: the six-size Dog suits party bags, a child's first flexi, or a matched set in several sizes. The one-size Dog suits a dog owner who wants one good-looking dog on their keys.
The Chihuahua Comes With or Without Teeth
The Chihuahua is our only dog breed, and the design leans into the breed's attitude. It uses the taller size menu: Baby (3in) at $7.00 and Regular (4in) at $10.00.
Both sizes have a Style choice at no extra cost. Teeth shows a small snarl. No Teeth keeps the face sweet. Pick the one that sounds like your dog.
The Regular (4in) is big enough to read clearly on a shelf. The Baby (3in) fits in a palm and still shows the big ears and narrow face.
Best for: chihuahua owners, and anyone whose small dog runs the house.
Two 3D Printed Ferrets: A Pocket Size and a Long One
Ferrets are mostly spine, and both of our ferret flexis behave that way. Joints run the length of the body, so they loop, curl into a ball and drape over things without going slack.
The Ferret
The full Ferret is the longest of our 3D printed pets. The 10 Inch is $12.00 and the 14 inch is $18.00. The 10 Inch is a comfortable handful for a desk or a bag. The 14 inch has enough body to stretch along a shelf edge or wrap around a pencil cup.
It is also the only pet here with a color menu: White, Brown Mix, Black, Pastel - Color Will Vary and Dark - Color Will Vary. All five cost the same, and the Custom color box works if none of them is right.
The Mini Ferret
The Mini Ferret is about 4 inches long, light enough to forget it is in a pocket. It is $7.00 on its own or $8.00 with a keychain ring.
Best for: the Mini Ferret for carrying and fidgeting, the full Ferret for display, and both together for a ferret owner.
The Guinea Pig Comes With a House
The Guinea Pig with House pairs an articulated guinea pig with a printed house for it to sit in between fidgets. The guinea pig bends, curls and holds a pose like the rest of the group.
The Style menu has four choices:
- Small Set - Colors Will Vary, $18.00
- Large Set - Colors Will Vary, $30.00
- Both Sets - Color Will Vary, $40.00
- Guinea Pig Only, $7.00
You then pick the guinea pig's color, Brown or Gray, at the same price. In the sets, the colors of the other pieces vary from print to print. If you want to know exactly what a Small or Large Set includes before you order, send us a note through the contact page.
Best for: a child who wants a guinea pig, and a guinea pig owner who wants a desk version of theirs. Both Sets at $40.00 also clears the free shipping line on its own.
What a Set of 3D Printed Pets Costs
Price follows size, because a bigger print uses more filament and more hours on the printer. Here are some common orders using the live prices above.
A dog and a cat for the desk: a Regular (2 in) Dog and a Regular (2 in) Cat come to $5.50.
All three dog designs at their smallest: a Micro Dog, the one-size Dog and a Baby Chihuahua come to $15.00.
A ferret owner's pair: a Mini Ferret and a 10 Inch Ferret come to $19.00. Swap in the 14 inch and it is $25.00.
A pet shelf: an X-Large Dog, a Regular Chihuahua, a 14 inch Ferret and a Small Guinea Pig Set come to $61.00.
Economy shipping is free on orders of $35 or more, and $3.99 below that. If you can visit us at Canton Trade Days, you can choose local pickup and skip shipping.
Matching a 3D Printed Pet to Your Own Animal
Most people buying 3D printed pets want one that looks like the animal at home. Color does most of that work, and the color you type in the Custom color box costs nothing extra.
Use one solid color for the closest match: black, white, brown, grey, tan or cream. Solid colors show the shape of the body best.
Name the coat as you would describe it to a friend. "Tan with a white chest" or "black and white" tells us what you want. A two-color request may not land exactly where the markings sit on your dog, because the color change follows the print layers rather than the pattern of the coat.
Let a child pick freely. A purple Chihuahua does not match anyone's dog, and it does not need to.
If the filament you ask for is out when your order comes up, we message you with the closest match before we print.
Common Questions About 3D Printed Pets
Can my real dog or ferret play with one?
No. These are fidgets for people, not chew toys for pets, including the animal they look like. Keep them on a shelf or desk out of reach.
Which 3D printed pet suits a young child?
For a child who no longer mouths toys, the Large (3 in) Dog, the Baby Chihuahua or the Guinea Pig Only are good starts. Skip the Micro and Mini sizes for a child who still puts things in their mouth, since they are small enough to swallow.
Can I order a memorial piece for a pet that has died?
Yes. Pick the closest design, type the coat color in the Custom color box, and add anything else in a note through the contact page. We cannot sculpt a likeness of a specific animal, but we can print the right kind of animal in its colors.
Will it melt in the car?
It can soften. PLA softens above about 140°F, which a parked car in a Texas summer passes easily. Bring it inside with you.
Pick 3D Printed Pets by Animal, Color, Then Size
Start with the animal at home: the six-size Dog or one-size Dog for most dogs, the Chihuahua for the small and opinionated, a ferret for a ferret, and the Guinea Pig with House for a cage you would rather not clean. Then type the coat color in the Custom color box, and pick the size by where the flexi will live.

At Cosmic 3D Creations, every pet is printed to order in premium PLA in Como, Texas, in the color you ask for, and checked joint by joint before it ships. The next Canton Trade Days run is October 29 to November 1 at booth 4268/4269, and you can order online and pick up at the booth.
