Food Themed Toys: Donut, Cinnamon Roll and Apple Turtles, and a S'mores Dragon

Food Themed Flexi Toys: blog cover from Cosmic 3D Creations with 3D printed flexi toys

Our food themed toys are flexi animals dressed up as something to eat: a turtle with a donut for a shell, another wearing a cinnamon roll, a dragon built from s'mores. Each one is a single piece of premium PLA, printed with its joints already in place, so it bends, paddles and turns its head, then holds the pose you set.

This guide is for bakers, campers, mushroom fans and anyone shopping for a person who loves a particular treat. It covers the seven designs, how each is sold, what a set costs and how to change the flavor with color. The short version: the four food turtles are $7 each, or $8 with a keychain ring, the Mini Berry Dragon is $8, and the S'mores Dragon and Mushroom Dragon are the $25 display pieces.

Seven Food Themed Toys in Our Catalog

Six of the seven arrived in October 2026. The Mushroom Dragon has been in the shop since 2024. Here is the whole menu at a glance.

The Donut Turtle carries a pink frosted donut as its shell, with blue sprinkles across a green body.

The Cinnamon Roll Turtle has a frosted cinnamon roll for a shell, icing swirls on its flippers and two cinnamon sticks on its head.

The Apple Turtle wears a pie crust shell with a little apple baked on top, an apple for a head and apple slices for flippers.

The Mushroom Turtle has a red cap with white spots for a shell, with smaller spotted caps on its head and flippers.

The Mini Berry Dragon is pink, with red strawberries and green leaves along its back and small white wings.

The S'mores Dragon has a graham brown head, a marshmallow white body with chocolate patches, and cracker and chocolate squares stacked along its back.

The Mushroom Dragon carries a mushroom theme from head to tail and comes in two lengths.

The four turtles live in our reptile collection, next to the plain Turtle and the Happy Turtle. The three dragons are in the dragons collection.

Four Food Turtles at $7, or $8 With a Keychain

All four turtles are sold the same way. Each product page has one menu, Keychain, with two choices. Keychain: No is the figure on its own for a desk or shelf, $7. Keychain: Yes adds a ring for a backpack, lunch bag or set of keys, $8. There is no size menu, and the pages do not list an inch measurement.

They differ in how they move and what they look like up close.

The Donut Turtle

The Donut Turtle is the brightest of the four. Its joints are small linked segments, so the flippers swing and the head tips from side to side. It suits a child who likes bright colors, or the friend who never passes a donut shop.

The Cinnamon Roll Turtle

The Cinnamon Roll Turtle is joined with chain-style links between the flippers and the body. It wiggles more than it bends, which makes it a good one to fidget with. Tan dough, white icing and copper cinnamon sticks give it the bakery look.

The Apple Turtle

The Apple Turtle moves on ball-and-socket style joints. The flippers paddle and the head turns and tilts. Red, crust brown and leaf green make it read as a slice of pie from across the room. It is a natural pick for a teacher, since it is an apple and a pie at once.

The Mushroom Turtle

The Mushroom Turtle is the storybook one. The red cap with raised white spots sits on a white body with a bumpy texture, like a mushroom stem. It suits a forest-themed shelf or someone who collects toadstools, and it pairs with the Mushroom Dragon.

The Mini Berry Dragon Is the $8 Sweet Pick

The Mini Berry Dragon is the only small dragon in the food lineup. It is $8, with no options to choose, so it goes straight into the cart.

The long body curls and wiggles on ball-and-socket style joints, and it holds a pose on a shelf. The round face and big eyes make it one of the friendliest designs we print.

It is the easy add-on. Pair it with any food turtle for a two-piece gift at $15, or with all four turtles to reach free shipping.

The S'mores Dragon and the Mushroom Dragon Are the Big Pieces

These two are long, coiling dragons in our dragons collection, made to wrap around a jar, drape over a shelf or curl up on a desk.

The S'mores Dragon

The S'mores Dragon is $25, with no options. A round marshmallow piece rides along with it. The body moves on ball-and-socket style joints from neck to tail, so it coils, curves and stretches, then stays put. It is the gift for a camper, a scout leader or anyone whose favorite part of a fire is the dessert.

The Mushroom Dragon

The Mushroom Dragon has a size menu. The 10 In version is $25 and is easy to hold and fidget with while still showing the detail. The 26 In version is $40 and is the display piece, long enough to wrap around a bookend or drape across the top of a monitor.

Colors: Bakery Shades or a New Flavor

Every product page has a Custom color box above Add to cart. The colors in the photos are the classic look, and leaving the box at "as pictured" gets you exactly that. If a color is out when your order comes up, we message you with the closest match before printing.

With food designs, the color box changes the flavor. A few ideas that work well:

Chocolate frosting. Ask for brown frosting on the Donut Turtle in place of pink.

A green apple. Ask for green apple pieces on the Apple Turtle with the brown crust kept as it is.

New s'mores flavors. The S'mores Dragon page suggests strawberry pink or mint in place of chocolate.

A different mushroom. Brown caps with cream spots turn the Mushroom Turtle into a forest find instead of a storybook one.

Name each part when you type. "Brown frosting, pink sprinkles, green turtle" prints the way you picture it. "Chocolate" alone leaves us guessing which part you mean.

Where Food Themed Toys Fit

A baker's or barista's station. A Cinnamon Roll Turtle by the register or a Donut Turtle on the espresso machine is a small, cheerful gift for someone who works with food all day.

Lunch bags and backpacks. Any of the four turtles with Keychain: Yes clips onto a lunch bag zipper, which suits a turtle dressed as dessert.

Camping trips. The S'mores Dragon rides along in a tent bag and gives children something to hold by the fire that is not a stick.

The kitchen windowsill. The food turtles look at home there, but keep them out of direct afternoon sun and away from the stove. PLA softens above about 140°F, the same reason the product pages say to keep flexis out of a hot car.

A play kitchen. Children like to add the turtles to a pretend bakery. Because these toys look like food, keep them away from younger children who still put things in their mouths, and from pets. They are not chew toys.

Common Questions About Food Themed Toys

Do food themed toys smell or taste like food?

No. They are printed in plain PLA with no scent or flavor added. The look is the whole joke.

How big are the food turtles?

The product pages do not give an inch measurement for the turtles, the Mini Berry Dragon or the S'mores Dragon. If the exact size matters, message us before you order and we will measure one.

Are there food themed Christmas pieces?

Yes. The Gingerbread Man and the Gingerbread Snake are covered in our Christmas figurines guide, and the Pumpkin works for fall. The seven designs here are the year-round menu.

When should I order food themed toys for Christmas?

Each piece is printed to order and ships within 1 to 3 business days, then spends a few days in transit. For a Christmas gift, we suggest ordering by the end of November so there is time to spare.

Pick Food Themed Toys by Size, Then Flavor

Start with how it will be used. For a pocket, a lunch bag or a key ring, choose one of the four turtles at $7, or $8 with the ring. For a small sweet extra, the Mini Berry Dragon at $8. For a shelf or desk that needs one big piece, the S'mores Dragon or the Mushroom Dragon.

Then pick the flavor: leave it as pictured, or name new colors part by part in the Custom color box. All four turtles plus the Mini Berry Dragon, or one of the big dragons with two turtles, reach free shipping.

At Cosmic 3D Creations, every one of our food themed toys is printed to order in premium PLA in Como, Texas, inspected joint by joint and shipped within 1 to 3 business days.
